Leader/follower rules in the competition are gender-neutral. • Competitor pass: Competitors must purchase the ticket including competition entry • Song selection: random by the dj, tracks will not be shared with the competitors in advance • Lifts & Acrobatics: Dangerous lifts, drops, and acrobatics are not allowed to keep the focus on social connection. • Ethics: Dancers are expected to display good sportsmanship. Disrespecting judges or poor behaviour will result in disqualification. FORMAT: • Eliminator round with 10 leaders/followers, everybody dances 1 min with everyone. • Semifinals: 5 leaders/followers pass to the semifinals, where everybody dances 1.5 mins with everyone. • Finals: 3 leaders/followers will be chose for finals to dance with the teachers. JUDGING CRITERIA: • technique & execution • timing & musicality • connection Points will be given by each judge 1-5 (5 being the best score).
